Im in the middle of reading the book and i really want to know who the third lover was. 1. Quintin 2. Tyson but who was the third? For some reason I think its diamond because she said she was in the hallway with all three of her lovers and the only people in the hall were her diamond tyson and Quinton. But then i was thinking the third lover was herself.. Totally lost.

watched the movie last nite...is it anything like the book?

I re-read the book over the last 2 days and watched the movie as soon as I finished the book. Yes, you miss their entire childhood which is important. I can't count the number of plot points you have missed out on just by that alone.

Their is also major events that happen in regards to her Best Friend Brina, that is Drastically different in the movie. The way she treats her family in the book is completely different. The intimacy between her husband and herself is different. Even the number of sex partners she had is different. The way her husband acts is even different. In the book, he has some issues his self that has to be addressed.

The way the "crap" hit the fan at the end of the movie was MILD compared to the book. Basically, Get the book and read it. If you even slightly like the movie, you will love the book. (less)

I found an answer on this link when she was with Simon & Schuster. It was suppose to be a five book series, but I think she ran into bankruptcy troubles before that happened.(less)
