Bill Jenkins Christie leaves this as a loose end. I thought the husband was the murderer. I certainly knew his "injury" was a fake. This is something Christie like…moreChristie leaves this as a loose end. I thought the husband was the murderer. I certainly knew his "injury" was a fake. This is something Christie likes to do in her novels. She likes to throw in all of this stuff happening on top of the murder. This just confuses the reader. I suppose this is part of the "magic"?(less)

I have a question.. according to the investigation they said james went to meet the captain but like he probably returned after finding his dead body...now the question tht is arising...Burnaby after killing the captain he was cleaning everything...how come James didn't see Burnaby when he went there? Coz obv Burnaby reached captain's house in 10mins did all those things nd just stayed there b4 going to the police
