For Miss Marple, there is no necessity to follow any order except that A Caribbean Mystery should be read before Nemesis. Important characters appear in Nemesis or are referenced there after first showing up in the Caribbean!(less)

Anyone know what "S.A." is a abbreviation for? Comes up in chapter 20 during a discussion between Len, Griselda & Dennis about Dr. Stone and Lettice and then Lawrence: "Lots of S.A.," said Dennis "Lawrence has got lots of S.A. himself."
Ruth I think it is an abbreviation of Sex Appeal.
