Rebecca The only book that made me laugh as hard as this one is My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand. Not at all similar, but so funny!

Below is a no spoilers synopsis I wrote for my blog.

"It's Frankie's sophomore year at a prestigious New England boarding school, but her first without her sister, Zada. She's growing up fast, but everyone around her still treats her like a child or only focuses on her looks. But when Frankie gets noticed by the cutest guy in the senior class, Matthew, she is catapulted into a world of money and inconsequential mal-doings. But that's not to say her life is perfect. Frankie grapples with feeling like an outsider, especially when she learns that her boyfriend is in a secret, all boy society. Most girls would pretend to be okay with it, but Frankie is determined to make a statement."

Me being a staunch supporter of feminism, absolutely loved this book. If you like feministic, strong headed, independent female characters then this is definitely your read. I would definitely advise you to read The Disreputable History Of Frankie Landau Banks. Cause it's a masterpiece that will make you laugh and think.(less)
