I was so fascinated on the spot by the fantastic, magic touch of the history (I used to hate history or find it dull) so I went further with the trip back.
I discovered Diana Uribe and her videos on youtube, great storyteller, dynamic and organised. You may check yourself the story of the 6 wifes of Henry the VIII here:

I personnally am looking forward reading the whole series of Philipa and then go for the 3 books series about the War of the Roses, by the same author.

I wonder how authentic the voice can be when historical novels are in the first person? Extremely hard to be convincing I would think to use relatively close period language without sounding archaic. On the other hand, I have put first person historical novels aside without getting past the first few pages for this very reason, the tone of voice is generally too modern for my taste.

Does this novel, or any of Philippa Gregory's Tudor novels, contain explicit and graphic sex scenes (such as depicted in George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones?) Obviously, when it comes to Henry VIII there will be much written about sexual affairs, scandals, etc., but I don't want to read anything that is gratuitous and goes on for several paragraphs or pages. Thank you for your thoughts and comments! :)
