There are many 'Trigger' scenes that even have adults upset. It's about a life that only 1% live and should not be viewed as remotely common place. It's a sad convoluted couple that I would not use the word "romantic" to describe. Last, I don't know a 14 year old that I think should read this. I don't even know a 21 year old I would recommend it to. It's not like the adults keeping something good from you, more like this is something you'll wonder why even adults read.
