T…moreWell, the thing is, I had this writing teacher once who really drilled in that if a story is in past tense, then all verbs have to be in past tense. The example she always used was that even though she is a short person, in a story she would write, "I was short." She hasn't stopped being short, but the present tense doesn't fit in a past tense story. I'm feeling a little looser about that these days, but anyway, this is a very long-winded way of telling you that the "loved" is a grammatical choice and does not mean that the love has ended. :) Also no one dies. Also part 2 a lot of people have wondered this, which I never guessed would happen!(less)
