Leo I read through all the Odd books within days and currently working my way through the last one, and while no obvious explanation was provided to Edie …moreI read through all the Odd books within days and currently working my way through the last one, and while no obvious explanation was provided to Edie and her circle of friends, I have an odd feeling (all pun intended) that they were saints or ghost in service.
For me, the remaining of the novels only make sense if Odd died in book one, and the remainder of the books was his service. DK made sure to at least mention the three stages of life at least once in all the novels, boot camp, service, and the final eternal life of bliss/rewards. This constant referencing is what made me think that Oddy and friends were in service up until the end of the series.(less)
