While they may not immediately understand t…moreI think this book would be great for a 12-14 year old that is just starting to learn about socio-politics. While they may not immediately understand the specific history about the cold war and the tensions between colonialism, capitalism, and communism, this would be a great way to kick start an interest. This book asks important questions and depicts a lot less violence than books like V for Vendetta. It is one of those books where you can enjoy it at a young age, but then come back again and again as you begin to understand the layers. (less)
