Ayman Hasan I think he wanted to try something other than actual sex that she may have been offended by. My guesses were anal or a blowjob.

Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of this book with the original Arabic text?

Does the book contain any very dramatic scenes, particularly anything suitable for a dramatic monologue?

Although well written, Alsanea fails to make me care about all the girls as there were a few who were hard to like. Maybe some of the heart was lost in translation (I read the English version), but sometimes the characters didn't even seem like friends.
