Before I decide if I should avoid or read this (out of curiosity), let me sum up the things this book has and tell me if I'm wrong: It has angst, steamy hot scenes and a romance to cheat for. And so it has cheating, an MC who's bordering on TSTL, and not only does this have love triangle, but also the UNIVERSAL choice between the nice guy and the bad-but-shit-hot guy. Did I get it right or was I too judgmental?

That's what a good writer does though right, makes characters you either love or hate? (Definite success for the hate part on Keira's behalf) I was going crazy reading this book at the absolute absurdity of Keira and her decision making skills. The characters I felt were unique and enjoyable. Overall I enjoyed the read though and it kept my attention.

The readers should understand the conflicts in the heart. To wear the MC's shoes and see the world from their perspective and understand why she'd made such decisions. That's what a good writer does. And personally, I think the author definitely failed. Like you, I was pulling my hair by the end of the book. I don't agree with her decisions.(less)
