I can't stand dog books which are sad. Too much sadness around animals in our world. I am very visual and see images long after I read about them. I'm not denying that death is a part of life, God knows since I lost my husband I am very aware of life's ups and downs. But I read to be entertained and or educated; is this gonna end badly?

Josh Emotional? Yes. Sad? No. This book brought happy tears.
