I watched "Hemlock Grove" on Netflix first. I was quite, quite intrigued to read it too. *Sigh* I am having THE hardest time with the way it is written. I was thinking it was just me (but I read other reviews) being a hyper-critical editor. I find the sentence constructions to be so--dense and clearly missing both whole words and punctuation. I will finish it. But I wonder if anyone else here agrees?

But in this instance, the show flows so well through each series, that if you go back and read the book, it can seem disjointed and a bit hard going. Especially as you already know where the story is heading.(less)
