This Sabbath book that I could not finish is flat and boring from the beginning and the personages uninteresting. Why he wrote this. I do not know, maybe a reflect of the declining of lust in his latter years. I remember some excellent books by P. Roth like the Professor of Desire. Sabbath is not credible in his desires. (less)
