That sounds like crazy advice, however, book 6 actually goes back in time and fills in the "wedding story" between books 2 and 3. Book 2 ends with the declaration of the banns, the intention to marry, and then all of a sudden in book 3 they are married. I felt like I missed out on the wedding story, and others must have too (or Jan Karon herself) because the short novel (magazine length) of book 6, A Common Life, fills it in as if it should rightfully be called book 3.(less)
