I have heard that some of the people who have read the book say that most of this book is just explaining political situation of the countries which che guevara was in there, is it true ?

I'd argue it may present portions of those countries but not the whole perspective. With that being said, you do learn a load about the Cuban Revolution in particular if you read it. I'd argue it is really about Che's life and you find out how much of an idealist and ideology in general that he was. (less)
