I almost didn't read …moreI would recommend "A Knight in Shining Armour" by Jude Devereaux. It is a crazy plot line (its historical romance/time travel!!) I almost didn't read it partly because of that and partly because the sample chapters on Amazon did not endear me to any of the characters much. BUT I read the reviews and kept seeing good things said about the characters so I decided to give it a go. So glad I did. Laughed so much and crazily really cared about the romance as well - even though it was impossible. I had a few doubts about historical authenticity n places but not as many as I had when I read The Bride.(less)
