I'm just a bit curious about why would Tom Finnemore ( April's father ) would "kidnap" April if he was on tour with an alcoholic band? I find that a bit hard to believe.

Who here has read this book, and what part of the book touched you the most?

This was unrealistic. When a young person of separated parents goes missing, the FIRST place the cops look is into the spouse that's gone. Why would it take a 13 year old to figure this out? And even when he did; why be afraid to tell the cops what you know, in case you are incorrect. Come on - nine out of ten clues any detective finds may be incorrect, but he has to follow them up. Was this a kid's book?
