I am still curious of who's white shirt is on the front page.I don't know if I missed that in the book or something, however I am thinking it is either Phoebe's(I think that as it kind of looks like a baby's little shirt)or I was thinking it was Norah's from the beach(only thing is,Paul and David,said they saw her blouse on the ground,but had bright coloured ones.Can someone tell me what they think/know about it?

i don't understand - how did Nora have a memorial for the daughter if there was no body?! How did they explain the missing baby body and why there couldn't be a funeral?! What did Nora think - where did the baby's body go?!

Does anyone else come away from this book despising Norah? I think she was a self pitying, self-absorbed woman who blamed David for everything... Do you think the author thinks Norah was justified in her extra-marital affairs and self-righteousness?

It is difficult to read a book when you cannot empathize or relate to any of the characters. On the other hand, they all got what they deserved, unfulfilled lives, lamely hoping for a better future. Much of the book was filler. Could have been half the length. Reminded me of click bait.(less)
