Yes, you can read this without worrying about references to any other earlier books. Can't say if any characters pop up any later books though.

Joyce I couldn't find a book by Linwood Barclay with the title "FaceOff" - except for a book that contains what appears to be a short story by him with Glen…moreI couldn't find a book by Linwood Barclay with the title "FaceOff" - except for a book that contains what appears to be a short story by him with Glen Garber in it. There are multiple stories by multiple authors in that "FaceOff" book. Update: After getting a copy of "FaceOff" I finally came to the short story with Glen and Kelly. And just an aside to note that the short story takes place after the events of "The Accident" as those events are referred to in the short story.(less)
