Not a town exactly but a home... And no one understands why I'm such a bookworm.. Ughh

Absolutely agree with you...I'll never have an e-reader...ever!!!

I have used thick books as pillow to sleep on few occasions when I became too sleepy to continue reading.

Not a town exactly but a home... And no one understands why I'm such a bookworm.. Ughh"
So True, add whatever friends I have to the list too. I have explain every time why I read, why I buy more books and also why do I keep on reading?
I can't live without books that's why :P

one of my problems is when my book's cover get damage and there is no solution to fix it since it is damage really badly ... *crying all snotty and teary *
17 can be a big problem for me and I am doing it now ., I am in my exams week however I do not see myself studying ., *guilty *

Hahaha Same Feelings

Me: What's sense of having so many sarees (clothes) when you can't wear all of them at once...!

that true, even i love smell of the new pages even old ones. but stacking a pile and feeling bad when they get ruined by any reason and only important point that i dont have to buy book, there i said it... no more books to buy.

Not to mention loving a book everyone else hates! The pain is unreal. :/

This is kind of true! You feel separated and wonder if they read the same book as you... You can't participate in conversations bc no one wants to hear how the book they loved, sucked. :(

or
Hearing someone make a book reference and the..."
Oh my goodness! I did that once without knowing until finally the person reading the book snapped me out of it and said "well at least i know this will be a good book!" Lol I was sooo embarrassed.

Hahaha

Only 30 minutes? I'd stay for hours"
I can easily stay for hours on end at barnes and noble....which reminds me i gotta renew my membership! :)

21. Reading in bathroom so no one bothers you!"
This used to be my solution all the time!! however my family just marches on in anyway as if it is the only place to have a conversation with me! What the Heck!! leave me alone!!! I'm BUSY!!!! LOL

Audiobooks can help with some of the other issues folks have mentioned. And as far as hating something someone else loves--never doubt your own taste!!!!

+you go to bookshop and find amazig books, but you dont have enough money at the moment, so you must choose some of them...

Glad you have a good nose--just remember how infrequently library books are cleaned in any way. And I hope you have a good back, too, because that 15 lbs of books I mentioned originally used to be the real deal in any suitcase I packed for more than a couple of days. I still like "real" books, but for portable purposes, give me that 4 oz Kobo Mini that has nearly 1000 titles on it.

Oh, golly, yes. I love finding out I have to wait a few extra minutes so that I can get in more reading time. And it's the best reading time because I don't have to feel guilty about not doing homework/housework/interacting with my family. I just wish it lasted longer, because invariably the friend will show up right when I'm getting to a good part in the book.

"
I love that scene from Gilmore Girls with her smelling the book. I hadn't given the smell of books a lot of thought before but since seeing that scene I occasionally smell my books too. Some smell better than others.

I agree about having a preference for having an actual book to read from instead of reading from a gadget.
