Spring into Love with the Season's Most Anticipated Romance & Romantasy Reads

In literature, spring is traditionally the time for romance, and that makes sense. The birds and the bees return to the scene, pollinators are swarming everywhere, and all of nature is essentially trying to hook up.
Today’s collection is nice and straightforward. If you’re in the market for a new romance or romantasy book, we have collected here the most anticipated titles of the spring, according to Goodreads regulars. Each of the books below is slated to hit shelves between the beginning of March and the end of May.
On the romance end of the aisle, look for new titles from genre aces like Carley Fortune, Kennedy Ryan, Ana Huang, and Abby Jimenez. There’s a nice variety of favorite flavors on offer this spring, too. In the mood for cozy romance? Try Laurie Gilmore’s The Daisy Chain Flower Shop. Dark rom-com? Game On is the third installment in Navessa Allen’s Into Darkness series. MM romance featuring the actors of a beloved TV sci-fi show? Well, lucky you.
There’s plenty of spring excitement for romantasy fans, too. Several highly anticipated series installments are on shelves or on the way, including The Ballad of Falling Dragons (from Sarah A. Parker’s popular Moonfall series) and the prequel Beneath (from Ariel Sullivan’s dystopian Conform saga). Some other highlights: Moorea Corrigan’s historical fantasy Thistlemarsh features fey romance set in a crumbling English country house circa 1916. Elizabeth Everett explores interdimensional travel accommodations in the cozy Magic and Mischief at the Wayside Hotel.
