54 New Romances to Put a Spring in Your Step This Season

Posted by Sharon on March 17, 2025

Beach reading season is just around the corner, and it’s important to ramp up gradually with your book intake. If you don’t get into proper reading shape, you could strain a frontal lobe. We’ve seen it happen. It’s rough.

To this end, we’ve gathered here all the most anticipated romance novels of the spring, divided into monthly stacks from March through May, according to publication date. We’ve cast a rather wide net this time around, folding in romantasy and other adjacent formats and subgenres—historical romance, paranormal romance, sports, rom-coms, and even the occasional meta approach.

You’ll find new books from many of the most popular authors in the game, including Jasmine Guillory, Emily Henry, Ana Huang, Abby Jimenez, Kennedy Ryan, and Lucy Score. Also look for perennial genre delights like atmospheric suspense, exotic locales, Western vibes, hockey lust, witches in love, cool cover art, glorious title puns, and the eternal appeal of the handsome Scotsman.

Click on the book cover pics for more information about each title, and use the Want to Read button to add to your digital shelf. Happy reading! Pace yourself!

Zehava (Joyce) Maine Characters is a story about two sisters. It’s not a romance, like at all.

Jessica Redmond Kingdom of the Forgotten by Charissa Weaks still has a TBD release date. Should be this year but definitely not in April. The author posts regular updates on her IG about it.

Tanu Serial Killer Games? Wow. TIL serial killer romance exists. I would've thought it was a horror novel from the cover! Sounds intriguing.

The India Holton cover is so pretty.
