Richard Osman’s. This is the 2nd in a series and I can’t wait. The first one was laugh out loud funny, kinda’ heartbreaking and a fine (if maybe a little obvious) whodunit.
Lisa of Troy wrote: "Where is A Slow Fire Burning?"I'll be picking it up because we all need a popcorn thriller every once in a while, but I really don't have high hopes. An average of 3.6 on here from ARC reviews only, which tend to be inflated, doesn't sound very promising.
I read other books from some writers on the list, but many others are waiting for me. I hope to be able to fit at least two books by the end of the year. Interesting list, by the way.
Definitely looking forward to the next in Sherry Thomas's Charlotte Holmes series, and even more, #2 in Osman's Thurs. Murder Club series [the first book of which gave me the most reading joy in a long & painful pandemic year]
I'm tickled there is another Grisham novel. I've read all of them, listened to most of them, definitely have my favorites. Be glad to see where this latest one rates in my list!
WHY isn't Louise Penny on this list? Her 16th book (The Madness of Crowds) is being released today, to acclaim... again.
And yet she's not on this list...
Reading "Madness of Crowds" by Louise Penny, definitely should be on your list....Nice Girls & My Sweet Girl are also intriguing.
Why do you never list Michael Connelly's Fall book releases. His new book being released on 11-9-2021 is "The Dark Hours" & I know all his fans (which are in huge numbers )will be reading it!!
