Forget the Usual Suspects: 24 Debut Mysteries to Read Now
When it comes to your mystery and thriller reading, do you tend to go for the known culprits or the whodunit? While there's nothing wrong with returning to a beloved author, there's something so suspenseful about discovering a new author in this genre.
We looked at some of the buzziest mysteries and thrillers of the last year for this article, and you'll see some of 2021's top mysteries so far well represented here, including The Push, Every Last Fear, The Sanatorium, and Girl A. But don't forget some of last year's debuts you need to catch up with, including the U.K.-megahit The Thursday Murder Club and the groundbreaking thriller Winter Counts.

Didn't know that Mystery/Thriller had its own week but I'm more excited than my birthday! I LOVE mystery/thrillers!!!!!!!!! TBR is increasing at a new rate (as if that was possible)!

As soon as it comes out in paperback, I plan to get that WINTER COUNTS book by David Heska Wanbli Weiden.
I want all of them, they loook so damn interesting.
