There's also a sequel called Dead Voices that's creepy too!

You won't regret it, one of his best in a long time!

Hmm. Well their school math book should be good start on the list. 😉
Joking aside the old stand by of Edgar Allan Poe
H.P. Lovecraft
Neil Gaiman

Hmm. Well their..."
Math is everyone worst nightmare 😆 Thanks for your recommendations

Horror lovely horror, and I'm just at the scariest part.

I'd definitely recommend Unholy Water. It's based around Halloween and is about vampires and vampire hunters. Very creepy!

This year/month I also plan to read~
We Have Always Lived in the Castle
The Colony by F.G. Cottam
House of Secrets Super Boxset: A Collection Of Riveting Haunted House Mysteries
Hidden Company by S.E. England
Fantastic Tales of Terror: History's Darkest Secrets

True. Very true
Your welcome.

this is horrifying, chilling, and a psychological thriller!! https://preview.tinyurl.com/yao8lovl

I LOVED the Babysitter series from RL Stine. All 4 were great!!

OMG . I can't do horror either . I can read a few children's gothic books , but adult horror is way too startling for me .
I might do another GOOSEBUMPS for Halloween .

THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE , that's the one that got me to thinking about creeps of the netherworld .

Ditto . Stine . I hate to miss out on the Halloween celebration , so to keep up with all the horror fans I choose one of his mildy creepy stories . I can recover from being creeped-out easier than being horrified .

chuckles .

Also, if you haven't watched it yet, definitely check out the film KWAIDAN. It's campy, it's haunting, it's awesome!

Even if you don't believe in the exisence of entities like demons, devils, familiars or other types of spirits the information in the book is good to know (especially if your a paranormal investigator, psychic, a witch, demonologist, /occultist etc)
Demons can/will appear in your life when you least expect it and unaware of how it even happened, this book explains some of the ways this can happen.
Protect yourselves especially on Samhain/Halloween from evil spirits, demons and other types of entities. Don't put yourself in spiritual danger just for a cheap thrill, because you are ignorant of the spiritual/supernatural realm, don't provoke the dead either, treat communication/any type of ritual or spiritual practice with any type of spirit/entity with respect always.

I am going to look for these both, simply because of the titles. :)

Hmm. Well their..."
Poe was my go to in School, also the classics, especially Frankenstein and Dracula.

I said horror 3 times in this comment. (4 actually) oops.

Yes!! Anything by Mary Downing Hahn! She is a middle grade horror writer with some spoopy looking books but they're really good, and not that scary. My favorite by her is "Took."
