I am still working on my review of it, and am really excited to see what the Goodreads community makes of it. I having a feeling individuals will either hate it or or love it.

I actually just finished reading it. I am stuck in the middle like some of the characters really had me scratching my head...
What did you think of it?

Lenoire, it is hard to say without spoiling anything for others, but the ending affected me deeply. The novel as a whole was far from what I expected, and it required a lot of patience, but I really did get a lot of out reading it. A spectrum of emotions, including frustration at some of the characters.
What about you?
(Feel free to message me if you want to discuss!)

They are both written for adults I believe. I've read Hoang's previous book and it has very descriptive sex scenes.
A Deceptive Devotion (A Lane Winslow Mystery Book 6) by Iona Whishaw was released today, May 7/19 which is the first delay date by the publisher and not May 21 which was the second delay date announced! High on my TBR now. Would love to read Louise Penny's "A Better Man" but $15.99 is a bit steep for an eBook even a Louise Penny and especially after the slight deterioration in some of her later books.
