I totally see where you're coming from since I'll also be reading up to and probably through New Year's, but as mentioned in the post it's actually available all year and can be found through your profile. of course, you can always wait until you're ready to look at yours :)

thanks. ^_^

It's fun to see such details.. Normally you only focus on the number of books you read, never the pages.

I asked about this last year and was told by one of the GR librarians that the way they count audio books is one hour equals one page, rounded up. So a book that takes 17.5 hours to listen to only nets you a count of 18 pages. It definitely needs to be rethought. (And without the tiresome "audiobooks aren't real books" arguments.)

Hi Paulo! I took a look at your profile and, just to clarify, are you referring to the title "A Nervura do Real"? If so, this error has corrected itself as this book no longer appears on your reading challenge, nor in Your Year in Books. This was most likely a caching delay.

It definitely counts the pages of the book on this particular page (not in the regular reading stats.) Like I said, I'm 6,000 pages off my actual page count. It even shows one of my audiobooks as the longest book I read this year at 973 pages. I seem to remember someone mention last year that it counts the default edition, as opposed to the edition we actually shelved, something like that.

thank you, it got fixed!! best wishes ^^

I looked my profile, but isn't update.

my last book isn't show up.

I wonder why as well. Since Amazon owns both GoodReads and Audible, why our Audibles don’t list is beyond my pay grade I guess

That is what bugs me as well. I have had several books get listed with the number of pages listed as "unknown" this year even though the Kindle store clearly shows that detail. Happiness in 2019 would be full sharing of information between the Kindle Store and Goodreads.

Yes! It’s like I am reading Rodin’s Lover and they think it has 309 pp, it have just under 200.

TOTALLY AGREE

Hmmm . . . Melinda Gates read some of the same books I read (and liked), so I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Yea is the word.

Not up yet, which is unusual.
