I really love this feature and I always check it throughout the year to see my progress, but I wish you would fix the thing where it counts the pages of books I have shelved as audiobooks. My total page count is over 6,000 pages off.

Is anyone having issues with all their books showing up? Even if the dates have been entered ?
Just found this function, thanks to my good friend Christina Meller Nielsen.. It's fun to see such details.. Normally you only focus on the number of books you read, never the pages.

My total..."I asked about this last year and was told by one of the GR librarians that the way they count audio books is one hour equals one page, rounded up. So a book that takes 17.5 hours to listen to only nets you a count of 18 pages. It definitely needs to be rethought. (And without the tiresome "audiobooks aren't real books" arguments.)
Hi, I love this feature, but I have kind of a problem. I'm currently reading a book whose profile says it has only one page, so when I updated my reading status it became the shortest book I read this year, of course (although I have NOT finished it, and the book has in fact 941 pages). So I tried to create another edition, it worked, but the book remains in my books of 2018 :( Can you fix it? Thank you!
My year in books has been pretty good. I never really updated all the books I read but so far I'm at 59. It'll be 60 if I ever finish Kingdom Of Ash. One of my most hated bookish tropes is in it and it's making me not wanna finish it but I have 200 pages left and I wanna complete it by the end of the week so wish me luck! I have so many other books I want to complete this year and they are all manga so hopefully by the end of the year I've read everything I wanted to read.

I took a look at your profile and, just to clarify, are you referring to the title "A Nervura do Real"? If so, this error has corrected itself as this book no longer appears on your reading challenge, nor in Your Year in Books. This was most likely a caching delay.

Like I said, I'm 6,000 pages off my actual page count. It even shows one of my audiobooks as the longest book I read this year at 973 pages. I seem to remember someone mention last year that it counts the default edition, as opposed to the edition we actually shelved, something like that.

searching my profile for this summary was unsuccessful. Only after a google article gave me a link did I see my summary. If it can be accessed through the app, I would like to be able to find it that way.

We, my wife and I, are too busy reading to keep up with such things. Sorry. We read or re-read a book a week at a minimum. We try to be discerning readers in any genre we read.

Yes! It’s like I am reading Rodin’s Lover and they think it has 309 pp, it have just under 200.
I wish it would print out as it appears on the screen. I'm surprised Goodreads wouldn't think people might what to print out this fun feature.
I also like this feature. Reading through the comments & suggestions, I would also like to see our lists at the end of the calendar year. I can read a few more books between now & Dec 31! A way to print the books we've read would be a nice feature too.
Hidden gems...there were a lot of them. The biggest was All Night Party, which I found in a used bookstore. I learned a lot about the early 20th century literary scene in New York City and some of the women who made it spectacular. Quite an eye opener!

I ADORE the Year in Books feature. Looking at the 'data' of my books each year is always entertaining. (I also am fond of the Reading Stats page; it feeds my OCD-like nature for statistics.) It would be so lovely if the YIB feature would also calculate the oldest and newest books you read in a given year, based on their original publication date.
This feature is just so fun! I am reminded of fond memories, seasons, places that I visited based on the covers of the books that are listed. I can't wait to start the 2019 challenge, hopefully will find some new gems and definitely will be re-visiting some old friends as well.
If GR wanted to give us a Christmas present next year, the ability to print this out or download it as a PDF would be welcomed.
Yes, or post it to our general updates.... or copy it in a format, that lets us paste it to our blogs...
Really cool feature. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, so it's nice to look back over the year and reflect on what I've read, and evaluate what I will prioritze going forward :)
