I've heard so many people say the iOS is perfect (I won't go near Apple products with a barge pole as they're nothing but overpriced tat imho) but shouldn't all operating systems have the same app functionality and features?
This is nothing but favouritism on Goodreads/Amazon's part that the Goodreads Andoid app is crap while the iOS one is perfect.
I hardly use the app I use the web and mobile web versions instead. The app has become nothing but a glorified update notification system for me in the hope that it'll one day equal the quality of the iOS one and that the Windows Phones will eventually get an app full stop.

Yes, you can download the app to your phone from there.

We'd recommend creating a "owned" shelf. You can then add your books as "Read" and "owned"
To do this, visit the desktop site and click on edit shelves from the homepage or from my books, and create a shelf using the "add a shelf" dialogue at the bottom of the page.

Unfortunately, buy links aren't currently available in the iOS app. We'll be sure to keep you updated, should we add these in the future.

On Android, if you tap on the series name under the book's details this will take you to the series page, with the books listed in order.

This update shouldn't prevent Goodreads from working on your Kindle. Can you please reach out to us with your device info (support at goodreads dot com) – we'd be happy to troubleshoot with you!

Yet your priority is updating the app for crApple devices and, on top of that, spamming the front page with a non-removable advertise to that update for iSh*ts?
I mean...This is just insulting. It's bad enough you're completely ignorant about smartphone reality worldwide, but to spam the MAJORITY of users with this on top of that...

I want to be able to: use the add book/author widget on the app, see spoilers on the app, reply to comments on ..."
