Bexxy Mov is a Canadian nonbinary author of psychologically messy fiction exploring trauma, addiction, intimacy, dark humour, and the beautifully questionable decisions people make while trying to survive.

Their debut novel, The Copulation Chronicles, examines the complicated intersections of sex, mental health, healing, and human connection through emotionally complex, deeply flawed characters. Bexxy isn't afraid to tackle difficult subjects with honesty, compassion, and a healthy dose of dark humour.

When they're not writing, they're reading gritty literary fiction, recommending books with morally grey characters, creating content about mental health and addiction recovery, or being supervised by their black cat, Freyja.

She’s Still In There

Grandma slept all day. I tried to get a hold of her, but there was no answer. I called 3 or 4 times, at least. Finally around 11 pm, she picked up. When she gets depressed, she sometimes sleeps away the days, finding this easier than living and being awake. I can relate, having slept the day until 5 pm myself.
