Fun and Effective Ways to Read with Children

Various studies have established that children who are read to during their infancy and preschool years have better language skills when they start school. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states that “parents who spend time reading to their children create nurturing relationships, which is important for a child’s cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.” There are multiple benefits to beginning a reading habit with your child no matter his/her age.
