Author’s Log: Quick Draw At The Drafting Corral (#amwriting, #ROW80)

Just a quick check-in today, as I’m busily finishing up Sweet Home #1. At this rate, I just might hit the finish line, albeit on my chin. But a win’s a win, so I’ll take it.

Ever noticed that when we’re at our busiest creative stage, the synapses fire ever faster and the little goblins in your brain become extra energetic? That’s me right now–I got smacked between the eyes with a non-fiction book idea this week that just won’t niggle free, so on the list it goes for later consideration, probably for summer.

But, until then…typeity tyepity!

TO-DO VOODOO FOR FEBRUARY:

Finish Sweet Home #1. Al…most…done… *gasp*
Begin Production on Reliance #1. I think I have everything I need on this one–as soon as Sweet Home #1 is released into the wild, I’ll hit the ground running.
Prep Keepers #5 for Production. I’ve been filling my Production notebook with shiny ideas and info on TV nites in the Word Monkey household, so I should be able to begin drafting next month at some point.
