At first they were negotiations. Now they arguments.

I am trying to have my next book Once Upon a Time in a Trailercourt Far, Far Away released in hardcover only. This is the ebook era, but who gives a shit?

Hardcover.

I write. Very true. But I don’t write for money. My profit margin will be the same or less with hardcover. The profit margin on an ebook is essentially nil. A few cents, tops. Writers want an audience and I understand that, but why sacrifice everything?

I want hardcover. I want my book to be heavy in the hand and remind people of the goddamn bible.

So sue me.
