Scott Pilgrim The Game: Storyboards

Scott Pilgrim The Game: Storyboards

I did these sketches for the game. We broke down the story and decided what to portray in each screen in a series of meetings in mid-2009. These drawings were done in early 2010. The final screens in the game were fleshed out by the fine artists on the development team.

Maybe I was just sick of story while working on volume 6 and the movie, but I never wanted the game to have "much" of a "story". We all agreed that we wanted the gameplay progression to tell the story without a lot of extraneous bullshit. We wanted it to be dumb and inaccurate and confusing re: the movie / the book.
