From Red Tulip - Which is where my gaze had locked on to... #MySexySaturday #MSS129

Welcome to the 129thweek of My Sexy Saturday.
This week’s theme: Our Sexy Mystery
This week’s theme is Our Sexy Mystery and this is our nod to the mystery and romantic suspense authors. Nothing like a good mystery to get a great romance started. Show us your most romantic or frustration relationships all with a flair for the mysterious.
I - sort of - have a romance with with a hint of mystery. In Red Tulip - Darcy keeps seeing someone that isn't there - red tulips appear out of nowhere and a message on a paper changes from one language to another. Darcy's never sure if it's happening or if she's losing her mind!
I couldn't scurry myself fast enough into my apartment. I bolted both locks and placed the burglar bar against the door. No matter how much I was aroused by the thought of him being in my residence, hell was going to freeze before he did. He'd already gotten into my shed and slipped onto my subway car. Who was he?Shaking him from my thoughts, I placed the tulip in a vase with water and put it on the small table next to the sofa. After showering, I dressed in a comfy top and yoga pants then tossed supper into the microwave. The seconds counted down. Not only timing the heating of my meal, but pointing out the minutes, hours, days and weeks since I had visited with my family. I rested my forehead on the photo of home taped to my fridge door. The scene out our backdoor. Mirror Lake bounded by trees dwarfed by snow-capped mountains. It had been one of my dreams, to come to the "Big City." The other was to work with flowers, possibly in a flower shop, hopefully on an estate. Both goals had been achieved.I held back a sniff. Then why was I so sad?Ding.Using an oven mitt, I hauled my dinner out of the microwave, and then pulled a fork from the drawer, tucking it into my back pocket. I peeled the plastic off the tray and disposed of it. Balancing the hot tray on one hand and grabbing a Diet Coke from the fridge, I padded into my living room to settle down to dinner and a dose of Dr. Phil.I never made it to dinner. My meal flipped out of my hand and landed roast turkey, mashed potatoes and corn side down on my foot. My Diet Coke hit the floor sideways and rolled towards the table next to my couch. Which is where my gaze had locked on two red tulips in the vase.

Blurb - Darcy O'Calahann, a junior gardener from a small mid-western town, is trying to make her way in the big city.Shamus McTavis is a wealthy bachelor with a mysterious family past. Are Darcy's eyes playing tricks on her? Is she losing her mind? Or is there really a Red Tulip tying her and Shamus together?
