My own pet theory about the ‘thing they set up that no one has spotted’:

I think it’s that the real Moriarty = Mary, from the start. The hints about the female voice in TGG, the way Jim had a whole second identity (Richard Brook), etc. I think they had the whole Mary-is-Moriarty-and-Jim-Is-A-Front thing planned from ASiP and have dropped clues but no one has picked up on it until after TAB.

I guess we’l find out in S4!

I always thought it was Johnlock they were talking about, and then M-Theory, but now I realize it must be M-Squared (Mary= Moriarty). Those geniuses.

Well they can hardly say ‘no one has spotted’ the johnlock arc. :-) The thought makes me giggle.
