Business Development and Office Manager

The American Interest is looking for a motivated self-starter to  help us grow and run our business day-to-day. In the Business Development role, the candidate will be on top of all of our circulation-related matters—from social media efforts to subscriber outreach to helping us get the print issue out the door—and will work with the Publisher to launch new initiatives. In addition, the candidate will serve as Office Manager, fulfilling various HR duties, cutting checks to authors, paying the bills, and doing the accounting.

This is an entry-level position—recent graduates are encouraged to apply—but one with real autonomy and room for growth. We are a small team trying to reinvent the intellectual policy journal for the internet age. Come join us!
