Dino Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm going through exactly the same with my mum right now. The cancer started in her jaw, after radiotherapy she has to be PEG fed, and now it's spread to her lungs and we're just waiting for the end. Your description of the fugue-state is exactly how I feel. I've been on autopilot for a year and just keep going because I have to.

Dino - I'm so sorry to hear about your mother! It can be so difficult, especially when it reaches the point where you know there's nothing left to do. I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm glad the article resonated... I wanted to read something like it at the time, just so I wouldn't think I was losing my mind. Be well and stay strong...
