It's here!

TORTALL AND OTHER LANDS, my very first ever short story collection, is officially published as of today, and is already 707 in the Barnes and Noble online sales ranks!

Most of the stories are previously published, but you may not have encountered them. You'll see old friends and hopefully make new ones, and you'll get the chance to see how my writing has changed since 1985. And with luck it will hold you until late October, the new publishing date for MASTIFF!

edited to add:
And the Kirkus review for the book, also on the Barnes and Noble page, is a very nice one!

also edited: if this link to the book doesn't work, I hope you'll just search my name and find the entry. I've tried linking directly to it three times and it's not working.

Sarah yay!!! Oh wow, this is really exciting, I didn't even know this was scheduled. When is Numair's book scheduled for? I read awhile ago that it was for this November, but obviously as Mastiff's for October that's incorrect...

Grace Very exciting!

Things to do:
1) buy the book for myself
2) inform mother that book is now available and she must get it for the young adult section of the library (though she probably already knows it never hurts to poke gently to remind her)
3) mark calendar for Mastiff

<3 Thanks for all that you do!

John Parvin Will be making a mad dash to get the book.... and will tightly lace shoes to make a madder dash to get mastiff when it comes out....

It was when I was pre-ordering it on the B&N website. I prefer hardcopies but yeah I noticed that it was there.

It just got here in the mail today but as I'm looking at it right now it looks TOTALLY EPIC!!! Sorry I'm still in the nerdy fandom freakout mode right now.

I have read all but Trickster's Queen and the first two Becca Cooper books, I'm almost done with Trickster's Queen though, and I bought the Becca Cooper books a while ago so I have to read those.

Carolina I bought the book this morning and I LOVED it! Getting to read about Aly and Nawat, again, was fantastic. The Trickster series was always my favorite!
