Rules For Dating My Daughter, published by Uncivilized Books

Tom Kaczynski, head of Uncivilized Books, Instagrammed this photo today: proofs of the book, fresh back from the printer. This thing is inching closer and closer to the finish line, and I am excited.

I’m thrilled Uncivilized will be the publisher for this project. They have put out a lot of amazing books. The Kickstarter was a great way to raise capital, and from my point of view, extremely successful. I sold a bunch of books through the campaign. But, paying the printer’s fees through a crowdfunder is really only one part of putting out a book that I hope will have some legs. Distribution, marketing, warehousing, and just plain know-how and understanding about the publishing industry - these are all things I don’t have on my own - but Uncivilized most certainly does. This book is in capable hands, I’m very confident of it.

Speaking of hands, it should only be a few more weeks until I’ve got copies of this thing in mine.
