Where To Start In The Gym

Gym Workouts

Have you walked into a gym before and been at a total loss?  You don’t know what to do? There’s somebody lifting weights who looks like he should have been in the last expendables movie, and some girl is running on a treadmill like an olympian.

It can feel overwhelming but it’s okay.  In fact it’s normal. I felt the same way when I first stepped into a gym.  I had no clue what I was doing, and I felt stupid as I read the labels on the machines to figure out what in the world I was supposed to do.

After all I didn’t want to end up on some obscure site where someone snapped my photo and put the title “gym fail” on it.

But here’s the thing. Most of my insecurities and fear of the gym were all in my head.  Once I had been in there awhile I realized that most (no not all), but most of the people in the gym were very helpful and actually enjoyed sharing information.  The gym staff were the same way.  They were more than happy to help.  Because when people are passionate about something they love sharing about it.

So don’t be afraid to get inside a gym don’t be afraid to ask questions, don’t be afraid to read the labels on the machine, after all that’s what they are there for and they actually have some great info on them!

If you still would love some info before hitting the gym and what to work out, feel free to comment that you want some workout plans, I’d be happy to throw some workouts together if you want to go in prepared.

Also join my facebook group by clicking the picture below, it’s a great place to grow with other people of all different walks, who have all different goals. You can ask questions, and learn all kinds of tips.
