Land of Shadows
Many of my readers share my enjoyment of Priscilla Royal’s excellent medieval mysteries; she has created such a vivid, realistic world that I am even willing to forgive her Prioress Eleanor for being a supporter of Edward I! Thank you for this recommendation Sharon. I haven't come across this author before so I headed over to Amazon uk to try her out. I bought her first book in the series.

I think you will like her books, Leila. She is very reliable when it comes to research and I find her characters to be three-dimensional, firmly rooted in the 13th century. Definitely not what I would call one of those Plantagenets in Pasadena books!
I'm sure I will Sharon. I'm really disappointed. I ordered her first book as I mentioned and all went well until a few days later I received an apology from the seller as they had found they didn't have a copy after all! I was NOT impressed so I've had to re-order from an alternative seller. I WILL get to read this time - fingers crossed!
