I have a tendency to refer to whatever I'm currently reading as "my book."

Of course, I also refer to the book I'm writing as "my book."

Might one of the best indicators that you've really become a writer be when you refer to "my book" and the person you are talking to aks if you mean the book you are reading or the book that you are writing?
