I have been a busy busy bee as of late, but I will not slack on my writing exercises. I will, however, shorten them just for a week or two. Editing EVO Shift is all consuming, and I MUST finish.
Today’s picture is of my tattoo. I had this tattoo for my twenty first birthday, nine years ago. *Cough* I am a fan of tattoos, and have one in honour of my daughter on my other wrist, and some kind of tribal symbol on my lower back. Yep, I have a tramp stamp. I was eighteen at the time and they were all the rage, so don’t judge. I don’t regret my tattoos at all. They’re like snap shots of where you were at during that time in your life, and I will definitely be adding to my collection at some point.
The Curse of the Marked
The symbol appeared only yesterday. Grandmother was ecstatic. I, however, was less than pleased. With the symbol comes great responsibility; a responsibility I neither want nor can live up to. They’ll see tomorrow. The ceremony will be two short, and Kyas and I will be long gone. I’ve heard rumours of a place where the marked live freely, protected by enchantments and magic. If we can make it there, we can escape our cursed future.
