Staying at Tom's Jungle Lodge in Bandhavgarh which despite its name, has truly stunning rooms. Each is a cottage and features only my most favourite architectural feature: a window seat. Sitting in ours, listening to birds and reading Angela Brazil, who I somehow never got around to reading when I was the right age for it. Schoolgirl stories are some of my favourite kind, and Angela's heroines are all of the haw haw upper class variety which is of endless fascination to me thanks to Downton Abbey. Schoolgirl stories is also why I begged to be sent to boarding school, however that experience was sadly not at all like an English school in the 20s, much to my regret. #nowreading #250in2016 #readingchallenge #bookstagram
