1) Tell me about your pets. 

He’s not really “mine”; he’s a family dog and I don’t live with my family (being 36 and living on the other side of the country and all), but my Toby is still “my” dog and I could never have another dog as long as he’s still around because he’s my number 1 and he would know I had cheated on him! Look at him. He is so precious! 

2) If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive who would it be?

Benedict Cumberbatch. Hands down. We’d have to reserve about 12 hours for it because we’re both extremely waffly talkative. It would be divine. :)

3) Favourite restaurant?

Probably Naru Sushi in Winnipeg. There have been a few wonderful ones, though. A place called Casablanca in the old city of Damascus, which probably isn’t standing any more. A fantastic tiny restaurant in Freiburg-im-Breisgau, Germany, called Hausbrauerei Feierling that has the most amazing beer made in-house (it IS a brewery, after all!) called Brünhilde. No one place in particular. :)

4) If you could play any character on Sherlock, for one episode, who would you want to play?

Moriarty, beyond doubt. You get to be campy as all hell, you get to flirt outrageously with Sherlock, and he has the best lines! That said, Sherlock resonates with me so tangibly that it sometimes scares me. That would be the most obvious choice for me. 

5) You won the powerball! What’s the very first fun thing you are going to buy for yourself? 

Is that a lottery? Travel. It would all be travel, after I’d paid off my student loans. For me, my mom, my friends. It would be so great! 

6) First ever celebrity crush? Dean Cain. 

I wouldn’t say that I ever had a really serious, life-consuming crush until Benedict Cumberbatch came into my life, honestly. 

7) First fandom (even if you weren’t “in” the fandom)?

Harry Potter. A love now dead. :P

8) Favourite thing about the place where you live?

The architecture. Québec City is amazing. Also the French, the pastry, the food in general, particularly all the maple and apple stuff. It’s good times. :)

9) Wendy’s, MickyDs or BK?

There are no Wendy’s in QC and I’m not very familiar with it. Between the other two… maybe McD’s, though it depends on the day/mood. I’d take Frite Alors, a QC chain, any day. 

10) The 2020 presidential election? 

What a very america-centric question. I won’t be voting, obviously, so whatever. If you’re of voting age, please: a) do vote, and b) don’t vote for Donald Trump, whatever you do. 

11) Favourite band/ artist?

As a classical musician, I’m less interested in pop music, but I’d say Imagine Dragons.
