Caturday Walk

The hotel my human and I are staying at for this weekend’s cat show is the same one we were at last year. In fact, this is my human’s third time at this hotel! (The first time I wasn’t even born yet.) After we checked in and my human and I both had dinner, she said I could go for a walk in the hotel. I got really excited when she pulled out the harness and leash.

So let’s go! I already know the way.

I went down, and back up the stairs several times. And the elevator once. The elevator is kind of noisy and I didn’t like it, but my human wants me to get used to it. She says that someday, if I get to be a therapy cat, I may have to cope with other noisy elevators.

I could see the parking lot from the first floor side doors.

The side door upstairs wasn’t nearly as interesting.

This was new! Our room is opposite from the laundry room, so I checked it out. I thought it was the housekeeping laundry and we weren’t allowed in there — once I found out it was for guests and I wasn’t actually sneaking around, I lost interest.

So that’s it! Now, where are my treats?
