About that anthology. . .

So, I'm pulling the plug.  

I posted the CFP at UPenn and shared it with the NFM on Facebook, as well as bombarding my friends' list a couple of times.  I got some early interest from my friends, but in the end, one proposal came in before the deadline.

I hope that this is more an issue of people are busy and not one of a culture of fear among contingent faculty or that contingent don't feel like publishing matters.  After all, if we buy the idea that our voices don't matter, then why the heck are we teachers in the first place?

My goals for this project were to offer a platform if one was needed; apparently the need is not as great as I thought it to be, which ultimately is  good thing.
