Hitting Back Hard
1/18/2016
The last couple of years, this year especially has opened my eyes. After lots of hard hitting reviews I realized I wasn't really providing my readers with all I wanted to provide them with.
I have loyal readers and I have found several new readers with each release. It wasn't enough because I knew something was missing. More then anything I want readers to feel. I want readers to be emotionally involved in my stories and some of the hardest hitting reviews showed me I wasn't doing that to the fullest.
The Wind Trilogy I hope is a statement to my readers that I care about you and your opinions. If I have ever disappointed you I am terribly sorry. I want you to know that everything has changed for me. Not just writing in first person instead of third but also my whole editing process in hopes there are fewer mistakes I am actually hoping there are no mistakes but I am realistic to know that humans are prone to errors escaping them.
I say this to any reader that might have been disappointed in a book of mine please give me a chance to correct it. I am confident I can. I am always open to honest critique I want to be better for the readers that has always been most important me. I also want to stay true to me as an artist and I believe I finally have found the right balance between them.
Happy 2016! Here's to what I hope will be a GREAT YEAR!
Love Always,
Amanda Kay
