anybody ever wondered how sherlock could have known which flight exactly, at what time exactly?

‘s been bugging me since 4ever

I think that it requires suspension of disbelief in embracing the fact that Sherlock has apparently memorized the flight schedules and flight numbers of every major airline, especially those leaving Heathrow. So once he knows the airline (which he narrows down by noting that it styles its flight numbers as “007,” uses a row 13 and flies 747s), and once he assumes it would be a flight departing Heathrow within the week (based on the increased pressure on Irene and assuming the crisis is imminent), he knows that there is only one flight that matches those criteria.

Tbh, I could have really used Sherlock at my old job that required me to fly back and forth to Europe from the US regularly. I bet he could have helped me avoid sitting in the Munich airport for hours on end waiting for my connecting flight.
